KEYSVILLE – After over a year of construction Eastern Wood Products held their Grand Opening July 19, 2022.
Unlike most ribbon-cuttings, Doug Colson, Chairman of Eastern Engineered Wood Products, cut a Glulam beam with a chainsaw.
The facility is located in Heartland Regional Industrial Park near Keysville. The 32-acre tract includes 22 acres of paved storage including office space, storage buildings, a cutoff shed and a rail spur.
Eastern Wood distributes structural floor and roof systems to the professional contractor trade through a network of retail lumber dealers and truss manufacturers.
Todd Lindsey, president of Eastern Engineered Wood Products, said, “Our commitment to creating an exceptional customer experience ensures that our customers can expect accurate, on-time delivery of pieces, job packs, or truckloads of material in one to two days. Even more important than stocking large inventories, hiring and training talented people is critical for us to meet our customers’ needs.”
The facility expects to employ over 20 employees at full capacity.
